ABOUT ME
Hey!
I’m Hüseyin Ak. I was born on 17 January 2001, in the warm-hearted city of Usak, Turkey. My educational journey began in Manisa, continued through middle school in Afyon, and took a new turn in high school when I moved to Istanbul to study at Umraniye Anatolian High School. Living in different cities taught me not only to adapt but also to embrace diversity and grow through change.
I started my university education with an English preparatory year at Istanbul Medipol University. Later, I took a decisive step toward my passion and completed my bachelor’s degree in Architecture at Gebze Technical University. For me, architecture is more than a profession. It’s a way of imagining, shaping, and connecting people with spaces.
My architectural interests go beyond building design. I focus on sustainability, the use of natural materials (especially wooden construction), user-centered solutions, and contemporary urban aesthetics. I believe architecture is not just about creating structures, but about designing experiences that resonate with people and reflect life itself.
Since stepping into the professional world, I’ve worked to balance aesthetics and functionality while staying in tune with the spirit of the time and the needs of users. Through this platform I’m building, I aim to share my architectural works, connect with a wider audience, and collaborate across disciplines to create meaningful, multi-dimensional designs.
Outside of work, I find inspiration and energy in nature. Camping, hiking, and exploring new places are essential parts of my life. Immersing myself in different landscapes brings me clarity and creative vision. Nature teaches simplicity, and simplicity is often where the most powerful ideas begin.
I also have a deep passion for motorsports. The thrill of speed, the connection between machine and road... These give me a sense of freedom and sharpen my focus. This adrenaline-fueled interest surprisingly complements my architectural mindset, helping me approach design with precision and boldness.
This site is more than just a portfolio. It’s a reflection of my values, my vision, and the journey I’m on.
